I just got approved for SSDI they stopped my Child's SSI. I do NOT live in the same house and his mom and I are divorced since June 2017 and I was told that my SSDI would not affect his SSI. How could this happen??

I'm sorry to hear about that! You may want to contact the SSA to update your child's case as they may be making the determination based off the information they have about his case, which may be out of date.
