For over 13 years, my doctors have tried everything, and there is no cause or treatment as yet. I am receiving Social Security every month. Can I quality for SSI and while receiving Medicare.
I have Stage IIIb melanoma which is a recurrence of a Stage I melanoma in 2013. I also have a liver disease called PBC (Primary Biliary Cirrhosis). I am not working at this time. I am scheduled for the week of August 28 to have surgery to remove my lymph nodes in my groin then will be starting treatment. Do I have to wait until three months of treatment is over before I can be considered for Disability.
