My account has said the below starting on 10/27 and has not changed. I did rec'd a fully favorable decision and have been told it is at the processing center.
Anyone have this message how long until it updated to show approved ? How long until your benefits started ?

Now a few days later it read appeal under review a medical decision was made, my question is how can that have happened I haven’t seen the judge yet nor had an appointment to see the alj, what could this mean for my case?

There are different factors considered when the SSA is evaluating a claim. It sounds like they may have made a decision on if you medically qualify, but may still be examining your claim to see if you meet the other criteria.

This just means the SSA is still determining if you are eligible for disability benefits. If they do contact you for more information, I would try to send it right away to help aid in the process. Best of luck!

It seems that the website has not been updated. I would monitor that for a little while to see if the status changes and then you can always call your local SSA office to see if they have any additional information.

I have not done any appeals I have an attorney my case saids under review we have a made a medical decision if we need more information we will contact you. Is this good or bad news because if it was bad news why would they need more information that to me would tell me u don't need more info if it's bad u have everything u need Explain?

This means the SSA has made a medical decision but they are still evaluating if you qualify non medically. Once a decision has been made you should receive a letter in the mail or you can check the status of your case online.
