Does anybody know whether that SSI back pay comes on a certain day of the month? I got my first installment the same week I was approved for SSI it came on the same day I got my first benefit. But I should receive one in January and I'm trying to figure out when I will see it? If anyone has any experience with receiving them in would love to hear about it!
I receive my first back
I receive my first back payment on april 2018 and I had the letter with how much I will receive, they said will on 6 months payment installments but I no receive my second one yet. Is something wrong or I should wait or call to see what is going on.

If you are trying to find out how much you are receiving in back pay, if you are receiving any it should be stated in your award letter. If you are trying to find out when you are receiving your back pay, the first installment typically comes four months after you start receiving benefits. If you are on SSDI, you'll receive one lump sum but if you are on SSI, you'll receive it in 3 installments about six months apart. Hope that answers your question!
