Does anybody know whether that SSI back pay comes on a certain day of the month? I got my first installment the same week I was approved for SSI it came on the same day I got my first benefit. But I should receive one in January and I'm trying to figure out when I will see it? If anyone has any experience with receiving them in would love to hear about it!

It's really tough to say, there isn't a black and white answer for that. I would recommend regularly checking into the status of your account on the SSA's website.

You may want to check with the SSA regarding that, but it appears you might be approved, if the check came from the SSA.

I’m curious about back payments...will they automatically deposit funds every 6 months...or do you have to call them...I’m new to this. We received our first installment on 5/11/2017 so I’m guessing the 2nd installment will be 11/11/2017
