Receiving SSD benefits can I sell my Life Insurance Policy and still receive SSD benefits. I am Stage IV Colon Cancer who receives ongoing, most likely the rest of my life, chemotherapy treatments and unable to work. Can I sell my Life Insurance policy to pay off bills and still receive SSD? Do I have to include that as income on my taxes?
