ALJ Hearing

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

I had my video hearing on July 18th ....My lawyer informed the judge that he was stilling waiting one medical record at start of hearing. However, at end of hearing the judge told lawyer ...she would not need that medical record. Does anybody understand this, why would judge not need all my records??

Hi there,
They may have not been necessary because the judge was able to come to a decision regarding your case without it, however you may want to make sure your lawyer has it in case you need supporting evidence in your case.

Hi there,
I really could not say as there are many factors that lead to a sucessful ALJ hearing, and we don't have any information about your hearing specifically as we are not affiliated with the SSA or the federal government.

My hearing was a video hearing. After the ALJ swore the VE and myself in,she asked me a series of questions relating to my physical and mental health and my age which is 62 .She then gave VE several hyperthicals the VE answered no to all . The ALJ then told my lawyer she would not need the medical file. My lawyer then asked the ALJ about onset being May 12th 2014 and that was the end of hearing
