Ticket to Work - Continuing Disability Review - 36 month Extended Period Elig.

Submitted by Shane on

I have been on SSDI since 2000. I have been participating in the Ticket to Work Program since 2010. I have made Timely Progress according to the Ticket to Work Rules. I have however, stopped working during the 36 month Extended Period of Eligibility. SSA has not reinstated my SSDI benefits and has sent me a letter regarding an appointment for a Continuing Disability Review. All the information regarding Ticket to Work states that SSA will NOT conduct a Continuing Disability Review while you are using your Ticket and making Timely Progress.

Selling small handicrafts on SSDI

I get SSDI. I was awarded due to severe narcolepsy (I sleep about 15 hours a day and cannot physically stay awake when I grow tired) as well as anxiety, agoraphobia, and OCD. I keep busy with hobbies in the home. I have been trying to find an answer to this like crazy. Can I sell small handicrafts I've made, in my case knitted items, online for a little extra income without affecting my SSDI?

Do I qualify for Social Security Disability?

Been on disability for many years now. I collect some on mine and a good bit more on my deceased fathers. I have a review coming up to determine if I should get more money. They said I could get more money on my recently disabled mothers account. My question is should I expect to keep what I get from my deceased fathers, and my disabled mothers? Or will they drop my fathers and just keep my mothers?
