WOW...Sounds like you want to live in a Socialist State and let everyone work for your want's and need's. Why don't you try working like everyone else that makes this country Great. Take a look at the people of Venezuela right now wanting the same thing you do. It was a prosperous country about 6 yrs ago. Now people are turning savage just to get something for food. America is headed in the same direction under the planted terrorist obomber and all you can do is try and figure out a way to get free money that is not even enough to live on month to month. Get the socialist indoctrination out of your brain and become part of a working society if you want to keep an almost Free Country. from these NWO globalist goon's that put this kind of crap into your head..WAKEUP

Hi Robin,
Thanks for sharing!
Many people receiving disability benefits are either working while receiving them, or they are receiving them based off of their work record.

I am 4' 10 1/2" tall. I have scholiosis, my spine is curved both on top and bottom of my back. My back hurts daily, all day long. I deal with the pain because I have no Health Insurance currently. I just turned 45, was told I could end up in wheel chair by 45 years and that the way my curvature is, it could shut down my organs!

Hi Kimberly,
I'm sorry to hear about that! Depending on your work record, you may be eligible for benefit, however many people are denied the first time they apply. It may be a good idea to speak with a disability advocate or attorney, as they can help you through the process of appeals. If you fill out the form here:

We can have one reach out to you.

Hi Penelope,
You may be able to qualify! Arthritis is a qualifying condition. It will depend on what work you've done before. If you've only ever done labor that requires intense work with your hands, such as a typist, you will have a better chance of qualifying than if you did a job that doesn't require much fine movement, like a factory job.

Hi Susie,
Unfortunately, you may not qualify for benefits based off of your height because your stature must affect your ability to work to be qualified.

Hi Ella,
You may be able to qualify based on your conditions, but it may be a good idea to contact a disability advocate or attorney. If you fill out the form on the left we can have one reach out to you.

Hi I am just wondering me and my boyfriend want to get married. He is on ssi and I work a full time job 40 plus hours a week. Will his ssi benefits be lowered? How does this work?

Hi Kate,
The SSA would count your income with his for the purpose of determining his benefit, and so it may go down depending on your income if you get married.

Hi there,
Unfortunately I do not have the ability to make the determination if you have dwarfism or any other condition that would make you smaller in stature than a typical person.
