You may want to contact the SSA regarding this, they can assign a representative for you that may be more willing to make sure those funds are used for your benefit.
My attorney told me I was awarded both ssd and ssi, (after 2 hearings and a four year fight), anyhow, my ssdi backpay was released today per ssa's website. I'm still kind of lost about the SSI portion, does it take much longer for the SSI back pay ?

If you have not closed out the original bank account, you may want to keep it until you can confirm that your new bank account is set up for direct deposit. Additionally you may want to set up a My Social Security account: https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/

I Valerie Rounds did receive amout of $735.00 on December 23th, 2016 and i honestly thought that was for my first of the month chech. But now I haven't received my check for my January 1st, 2017 check? Do you all knows where my SSI Check at for January 1st, 2017 in thee amount of $735.00 at this moment. The SSA may have sent your check for January early as bank holidays may have made that the only day that they could have done so. You may want to contact them regarding this.

How do I find out when and how much my daughter will receive? I have not received any mail from ssi in over a month since they said she was approved.
