It's neither good nor bad, that is standard protocol from the SSA. They have made a decision regarding your case and you will receive a letter with that decision sometime in the near future.
Hello. I have been waiting 23 months so far for my ssdi hearing. My status online hasn't changed the entire 23 months it is still in hearing processing etc. I had called a couple of months ago and was told I had a judge assigned and my case was ready to schedule. I called again this week and was rudely told they are back logged, no hearing date and have a long wait. Is it normal to be at almost two years since appeal was submitted and no sign of a hearing any time soon? I am in NYC but my hearing will be at the Jersey City ODAR via video conference. I appreciate any info anyone may have. Thank you
If you have ssdi and ssi decisions made -SSI denied. Yet SSDI states decision made-" appeal reviewing:Does this mean both will still be denied ? I worked enough quarters for SSDI. Thank you
That's not necessarily the case. It's pretty tough to be approved for both SSDI and SSI and there are many cases where one is denied one and approved for the other.
i was approve by the DDS,on sept29,then my claim went to the SSDRC,i check my online status and it said that a medical decision has been made and we are working to process your benefit application.Do that mean that i was approve to get my benefit started.

It could mean you're approved, or it could mean that the SSA is still processing your claim. You need to both medically and technically qualify for disability benefits so the entire approval may not be complete yet.
My husband received a letter stating that he needs to come to the school office by Nov 15 to talk to them about him needing a representative payee before benefits can be paid. Also the website says a medical decision has been made. Does this sound like he has been approved?
"A medical decision has been made" doesn't mean that that he is approved, that just means that they're readying the next part of the process of deciding whether or not the application for Social Security is to be approved or not.
Your claim for Disability benefits has been denied. A notice has been sent to you with a detailed explanation of the decision.

i went online to check the status of my claim. I was approved for social security disability on 11/13/2017 but have not received any benefits yet. Also,it says that ssid is being processed and they are working on my benefit application and the date was 11/09/2017. Can you please tell me what does this mean?
My disability claim was approved and verified by phone with the local Social Security office. This approval was months ago and I have not received an award letter. It seems like SS office is stalling. Is this on purpose? What reason would they have for not sending award letter after approval? Thank you for any suggestions

I'm sorry to hear about that! In some areas, the wait time for a hearing is longer due to volume of appeals.
