Do I qualify for the little person disability at 4'11"

I am 4' 11" tall and i am wondering if I qualify for disability?

I am 4 foot 9inches and have dyslexia and a slight learning disability. I am unable to reach the pedals In a car so I have to pull my seat all the way up and I'm really close to the staring will wich is dangerous if I have a car accident , do I qualify for disability benefits of any sort

Hi there,
If she is unable to work due to complications with her stature, then she may be eligible for benefits. However, just being of shorter stature does not mean someone is eligible for benefits.

Im 4ft 6" i am 49 yrs old i have anykolin spodolytis taking humera 4 shots per month.i have no work experience and no college degree.would i qualify for ssdi?

Little People of America (LPA) defines dwarfism as a medical or genetic condition that usually results in an adult height of 4'10" or shorter.

I'm just 5' not much & I have back issues,hip,neck,feet & I watch Lil ppl shows & it seems lots of things they go through I have very similar issues my Neck & lower back,hip are the worst & add to it I can sleep allot & even when I wake up I'm still tired so my therapist ala shrink said might not get right sleep apnea & then she went back to college for more edu so I've not seen her in awhile but I wonder if I'm on the cuff of being a LP there's no real reason to have all these issues & most Dr's have no real answers nor will they look very far Ins won't cover it but this is Insane amt of pain every day but been this way over 10 Years & only had a hell spur done & back,Hip & Neck not much of anything... ughhh TY

Hi Tasha,
If your stature impacts your ability to work, you may still be able to receive disability benefits. Your height would not have an impact on the SSA's determination.

My question is I'm 4'6 barely.I have asthma attacks and hyper thyroid gland and panic attacks.And probably osteoporosis And over weight I'm trying to lose the weight.I have looked for a long time for a job so far nothing because of my height I also get shortness of breath when I walk to much and back pain when I stand for a long time

hey....I have a below the knee amputation(BKA) on my left leg, and I am also 4'8" 1/2 tall....in your professional opinion do you think I qualify for Disability?
